Seven VMS (Variable Message Signs) were designed and implemented at Anglo American's Los Bronces mine, with the aim of improving road safety and operational communication on high mountain routes.
Each unit is solar powered and minimum autonomy of 48 hours, ensuring its operation in extreme snow and low temperature conditions.
The system operates with 3G or 4G connectivity, allowing remote message updates and integration with platforms HKLOUD for cloud or server storage.
Its instructional portico-type structure and LED screen High-visibility displays provide real-time information on distance, speed, and road conditions, contributing to incident prevention and efficient control of internal traffic at the work site.
